Disadvantages of working in an office
- Interruptions on a regular basis. Simply being in an office with more personnel allows for more smooth and effective conversation, which may result in a louder working atmosphere. This may cause the worker’s attention to be disrupted, resulting in decreased production.
- Lack of personal space. Some people are less outgoing than others, and they may not enjoy working in a group as much as everyone else. This is a downside if individuals work in open places or offices, since these more reclusive people may feel uneasy.
- Increasing anxiety and/or tension. In the office, you may feel increased pressure from your employers or from your co-workers. As a result, the person may become anxious at work, lowering performance and stamina to work.
